SLICES-FR operates a large-scale infrastructure allowing controlled and unified access to heterogeneous and varied cutting-edge technologies. It responds to the need to support fundamental and experimental research in these areas (Cloud, HPC, Edge, IoT, 5G) where access to such instruments is essential.
In addition to providing remote access to hardware resources, SLICES-FR aims to offer low-level configuration services (baremetal) and a whole eco-system of results processing tools, notably energy consumption, to enable the complete assessment of an end-to-end digital application.
